SERVICES
At holistic horse we offer a variety of services which are detailed below.Group discounts are available on request.
Wellbeing Reiki Session
Taking a pro-active approach to maintaining your horses' mental wellbeing will help keep them happy and healthy. Regular Reiki sessions can be of benefit to any horse from equine athlete to elderly pony.
A typical session will take approximately 45 minutes and is undertaken in your horses own stable at a time which fits in with their normal routine.
Cost: £25 per session.
Horse & Rider Wellbeing Package
No matter how relaxed we can make your equine friend feel no doubt about it, a stressed rider will end up with a stressed horse! Besides surely you also deserve a bit of "me time"?
With this in mind we have collaborated with the Nu U Spa at Mawdesley to provide a package which not only includes a Wellbeing Reiki Session for your horse as described above but also includes a voucher entitling you to a half hour pamper treatment for yourself!
Cost: £40.
Remedial Reiki Session
Reiki can successfully complement orthodox veterinary medicine when dealing with many physical and behavioural issues. May be your horse is stressed out on box rest, as moved into a new home and can't settle? Perhaps he has injuries to heal or has a chronic condition such as arthritis? Reiki has helped horses in all the above situations and much more.
However we would never suggest that Reiki performs miracles. It does not, it helps a horse deal with their issues and the treatment they are receiving. Reiki should never take the place of veterinary care. In fact to use it in that way is not only ethically wrong, it is illegal!
Because of the above, as professional practitioners, if we are asked to visit a horse with any kind of physical or behavioural problem we insist that veterinary permission is obtained before we see the horse.
Cost: £30 initial visit
£25 further visits
Companion Animal Reiki Session
As animal lovers we have undertaken Reiki sessions on all manner of animals from rabbits, cats and dogs to wolves and wood pigeons! We are willing to visit any animal but as above if your animal has physical or behavioural issues we will require veterinary permission first.
If you have a companion animal who is able to travel I would recommend that you visit Lester Petcare in Shevington (go to links for more information). Companion animal vet, Liesbet, offers Reiki and other complementary therapies as well as using orthodox medicine.
Cost: £20
For all the above sessions travel costs of 40p per mile will be incurred outside of a 10 mile radius of base.
